Getting started

Create your account and add your first site in a couple of minutes — here's what happens next.

What it does

Monitrova watches your websites around the clock and emails you the moment something breaks — a site goes down, an SSL certificate is about to expire, or a homepage starts showing an error. This guide gets you from sign-up to your first monitored site.

Set up your first site

  1. Create your account and verify your email address.
  2. Click "Add site" and paste your website URL. Optionally add a label and a client name to keep things organised.
  3. Save. Monitrova immediately runs a first check and then keeps checking on your plan's schedule.
  4. Open your account settings and set your alert email and quiet hours so notifications arrive where and when you want them.

What Monitrova starts checking

Check What it means
Uptime Is the site reachable and returning a healthy status? Runs continuously on your plan's interval.
SSL certificate Is the HTTPS certificate valid, and how many days until it expires? Checked daily.
Homepage health Does the homepage load cleanly (no blank page, backend error, or accidental noindex)? Checked daily, if enabled.

Good to know

  • Your plan sets how often uptime checks run and how many sites you can add.
  • You won't be flooded: alerts are deduplicated, respect quiet hours, and recoveries can be turned off.
  • Want to try before signing up? The free tools do one-off versions of these checks with no account.
